Marbled layers of green and grey ceramic stoneware, hand-formed into an organic-shaped tray. With or without incense holder. Each tray is one-of-a-kind, and the pattern and shape can never be replicated.
Each hue of coloured clay is individually stained before being layered to create an entirely unique pattern and appearance. The clay is compressed and evened, cut to shape, moulded by hand into its form, then slowly dried and etched back to create the desired effect. The trays are then fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time.
Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be large variations in shape and finish, and there may be slight imperfections. This highlights the beautiful handmade origins of the pieces.
Hand made using artisanal techniques. These pieces are a stunning addition to any bedroom dresser, bathroom bench or coffee table setting.
