This unique vessel has been wheel thrown, trimmed, finished and meticulously carved by the artists hands, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish and there may be slight imperfections.
This piece highlights the textured, raw, earthy stoneware clay and the facets of variation within the carved surface.
An artwork on its own, or transform the piece by placing a tea light candle inside to give a warm glow of light emanating outwards.
