A set of two or four hand-thrown stoneware latte cups. These pieces have a one off hue, due to the precious elements and compounds deposited from the glaze layered over the textured, dark, stone-like clay. These unique vessels have been wheel thrown, trimmed, hand finished, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish, and there may be slight imperfections. During firing, the clay naturally softens due to the heat of the kiln and movement of the glaze, and therefore the cup rims can become slightly elliptical in shape, which is entirely expected and uniquely beautiful.
Hand made using artisanal techniques, this textured stoneware clay as well as the glazed surface feels beautiful to hold as you sip your latte, cappuccino, flat white or other favourite beverage.
