A set of two or three hand-built stoneware dishes.
Each piece has an entirely different appearance due to the combination of colours, clays and layering within the clay. This unique appearance is a result of colouring some parts of the clay, and then layering this with other colours or other types of clay to create one-of-a-kind patterns or marbling. The clay is cut into layers, and then compressed and evened, cut to shape, moulded by hand into its form, then slowly dried and etched back to create the desired effect. They have then been fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish, and there may be slight imperfections.
Hand made using artisanal techniques. These pieces are a stunning addition to any table setting, or kitchen benchtop.
This listings are as pictured and/or labeled, and are for two or three complimentary vessels that are certainly not identical, highlighting the handmade origins of the pieces.
