Hand-thrown stoneware bowl. Featuring a precise foot and intricate carving pattern on the exterior surface. The interior surface highlights a contrasting pink-coloured glazed surface. This unique vessel has been wheel thrown, trimmed, finished and meticulously carved by the artists hands, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish and there may be slight imperfections.
This piece is a beautiful interplay between the raw, carved, earthy stoneware exterior, contrasting with the bright and glossy glazed surface within the bowls interior.
Stamped with the Evoke Artisan Studio logo on the base.
**This piece is a seconds item as it has some small imperfections in the glazed interior surface, as pictured, with some irregular clouding (see photographs), unique to this piece. There is also some very small areas of the exterior surface with clear glaze, close to the foot of the bowl, which are reflective in the photograph.
