This unique vessel has been wheel thrown, trimmed, finished and meticulously carved by the artists hands, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish and there may be slight imperfections.
This piece is a beautiful interplay between the raw, carved, earthy stoneware exterior, contrasting with the bright glazed surface within the bowls interior. The interior glaze is textured precisely like a tangerine peel.
