Hand-thrown stoneware bowl with gloss glaze. Some of the clays used have been hand-dyed, and then layered with other variations of clay to create a marbled pattern. Other vessels have a unique hue due to the precious elements and minerals deposited by the glaze. These pieces have been wheel-thrown, dried, trimmed, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish and there may be slight imperfections.
