Made using a combination of wheel and handbuilding techniques, this stoneware teapot and two matching teacups are finished with satin speckled glaze, or a glossy pink glaze. The speckle-glazed pieces have a unique flecked effect, due to the precious elements deposited from the glaze.
This one-off set has been wheel thrown, trimmed, hand modeled and finished, fired in a kiln, glazed, and fired for a second time. Due to the nature of all handmade ceramics, each piece is distinctively its own, and there will be slight variations in shape and finish and there may be slight imperfections.
